A nice, clean, and modern hotel—no bugs whatsoever 😉 Everything is close by. The rooms are small but perfectly sufficient, with ideal conditions for sleeping: the bed is very large and extremely comfortable, and the pillows and bedding are excellent. The bathroom was also spotless. The hairdryer, however, was so loud that I preferred walking around with wet hair rather than risking a nervous breakdown. The view from the top floors is fantastic. There are several elevators and multiple self-check-in and check-out stations. It’s a 5–6 minute walk to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (with direct buses to Newark Airport). The selection of breakfast options was very tasty and more than enough for a few days’ stay. The staff—both at the restaurant and the front desk—were efficient and very polite. The hotel’s common areas are pleasant; the rooftop terrace was a bit underwhelming, but perhaps it looks better in peak season. Since we stayed during Easter, prices were naturally much higher. Under normal conditions, I would say Arlo Midtown offers very good value for money. To sum up—I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to New York.

The hotel location is perfect, Midtown is by itself already pretty active and with many things to do and see, but it’s just a few steps away from the metro system so you have all NYC for you. The building looks nice, the interior is modern with attention to details, same goes for the rooms, amazing views, perfectly sized TV that you can watch from a very comfy bed or sofa, which can also be used to admire the city from above. The room was clean, and the cleaning staff always did an excellent job, the bathroom was very well organized, with a big walk-in shower, perfect for some relaxing time after all of NYC intensive walking. Staff is excellent, very friendly and always available to help.

The room was nice. The hotel is really pretty inside and the people that work there are all really kind. Especially the bellmen and people that check you in/out. There is a cool little cafe that you can get coffee and all kinds of treats and really neat little cocktail mixers and whatnot. We did get there early and they did give us a really early check in at no charge which was very cool. Also we did a late check out and there was no charge to stay 2 hours late as long as we leave before 1:00. After that it costs around 50 bucks. And they held our bags for us for a few hours which was nice.

Location great in a quietish (for New York) side street - walkable to Times Square etc Staff friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant very good and liked the fact that we could have the option to eat pizzas and a bar menu in the bar especially good value when Lucky Hour 4-7pm was on. Rooms clean and beds very big and comfortable.

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are modern, comfy bed and nice bedsheets. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Even managed to get checked in slightly earlier which was appreciated after a long flight. Location is within walking distance to Times Square and has great food options around.
